Start by having the user sit in the chair as upright as possible. This is important because it will make sure that all the measurements are accurate.
Now you are ready to measure.
This should be a measurement from the base of the seat to the top of the user’s head.
This measurement should be taken from the fl oor to the under side of the user’s knees.
This measurement should be taken from the user’s back to the front of his/her knees.
This measurement should be taken from the user’s back to the front of his/her toes. Make sure the user tucks in his/ her toes as far back as they can comfortably.
